Trainer Roles

Accredited Trainer / Assessor

Our Accredited Trainer / Assessors are qualified to deliver and assess work from our suite of accredited courses.

Requirements

To deliver accredited training you must fulfill the following:

                      • Hold the current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110* or TAE40116
                      • Hold a current Working with Children Check (names of this check vary from state to state)
                      • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working or volunteering in a community radio station in a variety of roles, on-air and off-air
                      • Have some experience delivering training within a community radio station
                      • Commit to continuing professional development in the VET sector and the media industry

Pathways Trainer

Our Pathways Trainers deliver our suite of pathways courses. Pathways training is non-accredited, and as such trainers are not required to hold the training and assessment qualification listed above. It is delivered in a one-day 6hr session. Given the duration of the training, Pathways Training opportunities tend to be more frequent.

Requirements

To deliver pathways training you must fulfill the following:

                      • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working or volunteering in a community radio station in a variety of roles, on-air and off-air
                      • Have some experience delivering training within a community radio station
                      • Commit to continuing professional development in the VET sector and the media industry
