Bronwen Loden (Trainer),  has worked in radio both here in Australian and in Canada. In the various roles she has held, Bronwen  has been involved with news and talk programming, live broadcasting and station governance. She is now one of the Training Coordinators at 4ZZZ in Brisbane and delivers accredited training at 4NSA in Noosa.

Peter Gill

Peter Gill (Trainer), has been actively involved in radio for over 40 years, from DJing and producing through to working as both a Programming and Production Manager at various stations. His extensive experience also covers training and mentoring, in-house at stations as well as for the JMC Academy. Peter currently works at CoastFM in Cairns.

Blair Martin

Blair Martin (Coach), has had over 20 years experience in training, team building and in a variety of workplaces. He was the Training Coordinator for 4ZZZ in Brisbane and has delivered several in-house Announcer Training programs as well as CMTO Pathways courses on Basic Sound Editing, Presentation and Interviewing and has coordinated recent Pathways Outside Broadcasting courses. 

Laura Mc

Laura McDowell (Trainer), is a freelance educator with a Master's degree in Communication for Social Change from the University of Queensland. She has had experience assisting ABC Internation Development on their community radio projects in Cambodia, PNG and Myanmar. She also researched and wrote a thesis on cross-cultural collaborative media production in remote Indigenous communities.

Jason Hagen resized

Jason Hagen (Trainer), is the Training Coordinator at Brisbane’s 4EB, having previously fulfilled the same role at ABC Radio where he was also a Project Manager and breakfast presenter.



Kim Stewart (Trainer) is a social worker and board member of 4ZZZ,with almost 20 years of community radio production experience. She coordinates the Ability Radio Project (winner of the 2015 Tony Staley Award), which facilitates radio training for people with intellectual disabilities. She is a Doctoral candidate in Creative Industries at QUT, and with QUT students produces a mental health and wellbeing program on Zed Digital, Only Human.

David Coles (Trainer) is an award winning member of the communications sector. Prior to becoming 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Station Manager in 2009 he worked in international broadcasting with the BBC in London for over 20 years, giving him experience in everything from radio, to writing and television. He has also worked at the prestigious Endeavour Foundation and was invited to judge the Race in the Media Awards in the past and currently runs a consultancy business whilst volunteering at a local state school to support students with their reading skills.
