“Getting trained from one of the sector’s most experienced trainers, helped me learn about community media and its importance.” – Cert III interview skill set, student feedback

“The station has a very small pool of team members who know how to write and submit grants. This course will help grow that number and allow the station to apply for more grants to help keep the station running.”– Pathways Grant Writing Course,  station feedback

CMTO has published our Annual Feedback Report for 2022. This report is an analysis of all of the feedback we received for our courses in 2021.

The report shows that our student, station and trainer feedback for 2021 was overwhelmingly positive. Much of the feedback reflected that we rose to the challenge presented by Covid-19 restrictions, providing online and virtual training in lieu of face-to-face options. Additionally, trainer quality was an area that students were most satisfied with.  Further training in Media Law, in particular Copyright, was the most requested by survey respondents.

The Annual Feedback Report includes 700 individual pieces of feedback on our accredited training, pathways courses, online self-paced courses and webinars.

Feedback is an incredibly important element of our continuous improvement strategy, and this report showcases the ways CMTO absorbs feedback and puts it into action so that our work reflects the needs of our community.

The report also includes data from the Quality Indicator survey for accredited training submitted to ASQA on the 30th June 2022.
