International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is on 3rd December 2023 and is a United Nations observed day.

In Australia, IDPwD is a joint effort between government, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals.

The IDPwD program aligns with Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-31 and aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

To celebrate this day, CMTO is sharing an audio feature about our recent Audio Ability Project Participants. It contains the audio features that the students made as part of their final major work in the course, as well as vox pops from the mentors of the program about their experience.
