CMTO’s next intake for CUA41220 Certificate IV in Screen and Media traineeships commences in July 2024

This is a great opportunity to support a current employee to undertake accredited training and gain a qualification, or an effective incentive for new recruits.

A traineeship will allow staff at community radio stations to boost or consolidate their broadcasting and production skills.

What is a traineeship?

A traineeship is paid employment (full or part time) which provides the trainee with the opportunity to learn on the job.

At the same time, the trainee is also undertaking formal training with a Registered Training Organisation, leading to a nationally recognised qualification upon completion.

Trainees undertaking the CMTO’s CUA41220 Certificate IV in Screen and Media can choose between a Radio and Podcasting, Journalism or Broadcast Technology specialisation.
