The CMTO has launched a new Creative Media Content website to help media producers put their content across all platforms! the website is especially good for radio producers, as there are heaps of articles about how tomake your audio pop online!

“It’s all about visualising the audio” says Nicola Joseph, the CEO of the CMTO.

“We are trying to move the community radio sector away from the idea that the online platformis just for replays and catch ups. Instead, when you plan a really dynamic program or project as a truly mulitplatform work from the start – you get something completely different.”

Nicola says the CMTO has spent 12 months researching and developing the material for the website which is the only one of its kind in the country. Basically, Greta Balog and myself worked overtime to gather advice from the experts. People have been incredibly generous with their knowledge.

There are three sections to the website. The first is about audiences and understanding how they are changing. The sedond is about planning and the last section is all about skills and apps you need to make multiplatform content.

“We have already received emails from producers who saw the website when we made it licve for a test period. We also have offers from various digital creative producers wanting to ask if they can write for the website.”

The CMTO will continue to add to the website as new tools and apps become available. They also want to hear from producers in the sector who are trying new approaches to getting their content heard.
