The First Nation’s Media Australia (FNMA) and Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO) are inviting expressions of interest from First Nations community media staff and volunteers interested in sports broadcasting at their stations.
The upcoming FNMA Sports Broadcasting Project is a collaboration the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
For 12 weeks the project will involve 1 hour online meetings with a personal mentor (from the ABC) combined with access to customised learning resources and webinars via the CMTO.
Topics include:
• Programming Sports at Your Station
• Sports Commentating
• Scripting Sports Reports
• Producing Sports Packages
• Interviewing
• Planning an Outside Broadcast for a Sporting Event
