Are you a First Nations person who is ready to take the next step in your media leadership career?
Apply for First Nations TAKE IT ON 2022!
CMTO has partnered with First Nations Media Australia (FNMA) to support emerging leaders in First Nations media.
Applications are open NOW for participants to get involved in the 10-week program starting at the end of September 2022.
Participants from First Nations media organisations across the country will be paired with industry mentors to guide them through leadership topics to support the management of their radio station or media organisation. This includes access to an online learning hub via Moodle as well as online meetings at the start and midway through the program, and a chance to connect and network face-to-face at the end.
Check out the feedback from our 2021 participants:
“I wanna say to all of you so far that you have been incredibly supportive and so generous in regards to how much you have tried to stretch for me. Being given Kirstyn and Billy to support me in this has been incredible” - Ange Parrish, 2NVR, FNTIO 2021 Participant
“I met so many people over east through Kelly’s contacts, all of her friends and network, Kelly has been so great, such a great support & sharing ideas, so definitely going to keep in contact with Kelly and hopefully the rest of you.” - Glenys Opum, Noongar Radio, FNTIO 2021 Participant
