Ozlem and Khi-Lee launched their campaign encouraging the public to stop and consider for a few moments, what it’s like to be a women experiencing or living in fear of experiencing violence. On a tangible level, Hear Me Out will encourage women to connect, learn new skills and have access to resources and help.
The end of the project, which involved several group meetings, resulted in Community Service Annoucements being created, outdoor advetising with compelling imagery and some longer versions packaged as radio documentaries and available to podcast via purpose built website.
Ozlem and Khi-Lee aspire to develop Hear Me Out into a progressive awareness campaign that makes a tangible difference to the lives of people. Looking further ahead, they feel the Hear Me Out model has the potential to raise awareness on a range of human rights and social issues using empathy.
