Heli Newton is the Training and Learning Design Assistant at the Community Media Training Organisation. Heli is also a current Pathways Trainer and Hindenburg Specialist. Heli cut his teeth in community media by volunteering at FBi Radio in broadcasting music specialist programs and lending a hand in FBi’s arts and audio production teams. Aside from his contributions to community radio, Heli is a multi-instrumentalist in various projects that has seen him to play at Dark Mofo (Tasmania), Gizzfest (Victoria), Soft Centre (Sydney) and at the Sydney Opera House for Vivid LIVE (Sydney).
