The CMTO would like to give a big congratulations to Kaarina Lindell of Triple R Melbourne, who took out the National Features and Documentary Series award for her work ‘How Digital Changed Music’.

Kaarina produced the piece and was mentored by Michael Schubert of Bay FM in Byron Bay who won the award in 2016 for his piece ‘In Search of Silence’.

The 2017 National Features and Documentary Series showcases works by new and emerging Australian community radio producers.

Judges from the CBAA had a hard job of choosing the winner from a very talented group of seven works covering a wide range of topics from alternative forms of education to the art of storytelling.
