Do you live in Sydney and want to get involved in community radio?

The CMTO currently has some places under the NSW Smart and Skilled Program for people interested in studying for their Certificate III in Screen and Media.

CUA31015 – Certificate III in Screen and Media is designed for people wanting to work, or develop their skills as radio producers and presenters.

You will study 11 units (including 3 core units) to obtain the full CUA31015 – Certificate III in Screen and Media.

BSBCRT301 Develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills
CUAAIR401 Conduct interviews
CUAAIR201 Develop techniques for presenting information on air
CUASOU202 Perform basic sound editing
CUARES201 Collect and organise content for broadcast or publication
CUADIG201 Maintain interactive content
CUAPPM302Plan and prepare program content
CUAWRT301 Write content for a range of media
CUAAIR301 Present programs on air
