The team at the CMTO have been really focused on a return to face-to-face training in 2022. It’s been a mammoth effort to make sure all our trainers, students and station have a safe experience, but it’s been so worth it- read some of our student success stories here.

The CMTO board has also been working on our vision and purpose for the next three years, as we embark on a new funding partnership with the Community Broadcasting Foundation to deliver broadcast, technical leadership and enterprise skills over the next three years.

And, as we reach a new financial year we’re firming up new project partnerships with the NEMBC, FNMA, RPHA, CMAA, Technorama and CBAA for the coming 12 months, so watch this space.

Read on for some detail on our draft strategic plan and our major projects for the next 12 months.
