Wednesday May 12th
11am-12pm AEST
Presented by: Hamish Sewell
This one-hour workshop focuses on the V2 Soundtrails app and is geared to emerging producers who want to work on immersive site-specific audio experiences anywhere around the world: whether festival walks, cultural tourism trails, or experimental sound forays.
With our world ever more digitally mediated, the opportunities are rapidly expanding for sound producers and creative storytellers to get in on locative audio.
This workshop gives you the tools to get started and will focus on the Soundtrails Builder, using different geo locative layers of sounds, narrative approaches, and how to deploy your published Soundtrail anywhere around the world.
There will be a Q&A at the end.
If you want a head start on this workshop and are curious to know more:
1) download the Soundtrails app
2) check out the 20 minute demo here
3) sign up on the builder and start to play
