The CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media is an accredited qualification the CMTO delivers, suited to anyone considering a career and employment within the community broadcasting industry.

The course teaches the skills necessary to work in the creative industries as well as skills in broadcasting, interviewing, audio recording and editing, content creation and more.

Earlier this year CMTO had six participants from MAINFM 94.9 successfully complete their Certificate III in Screen and Media. Their training was delivered by trainer Kate Elliot, primarily in person at the station in Castlemaine, Victoria.

One of the students had some positive feedback to share about their experience of the course:

"I found the course comprehensive with all of the relevant community radio presenter information in bite size pieces, easily understood and broken down.  I feel more confident with my content creation for our weekly show due to doing the course and feel like the quality of radio I produce has increased because of it. Thanks CMTO!"

The students are now equipped with the qualifications to create radio programs and also to work as a radio program presenter.
