The COVID-19 Response Leadership Coaching program is in full swing!
16 community radio stations have been paired with coaches over 10 weeks as they refocus their income and management priorities in the wake of the pandemic.
On Wednesday 1 July, 27 coaches and participants from across the country shared their goals and progress so far. A key theme was the impact on community engagement activities and the cancellation of Outside Broadcasts, quiz nights and other fundraising events, with many using the program to focus on membership development strategies.
It was a great to all meet each other, with participants commenting that the coaching had introduced ‘new ideas and new ways of thinking’ about current challenges and helped to ‘bring things into focus’.
