Applications are open for the 2024 round of CMTO’s THINK BIG: Introduction to Fundraising course. 

The 12-week online learning and mentoring program kicks off again in April 2024. The program is designed to support current and emerging community media leaders to learn all things income related at their station – sponsorship, grants, events, fundraising and marketing.

The program is 100% subsidised for participants and involves one-hour online meetings on Wednesday afternoons, alternating between reading new content and meeting with a mentoring group to discuss activities. 

Program Timeline

Students must be available on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00pm - 5:00PM AEDT. 

The course will run from April 3rd to 26th of June 2024. 

Program Outcomes

Through the program students will have the opportunity to develop a pitch on a new revenue stream project for their station.

This pathways course can help to build foundational skills for participants interested in applying for the CUA00099 Community Broadcasting Marketing Skill Set.
